Has the size and desire to succeed as a grinder-type forward in the NHL. A ‘policeman’ that sticks up for teammates in anyway necessary.
A mobile offensive blueliner who makes a good first pass out of the zone and can help on the powerplay.
Natural goal scorer who isn’t afraid to go into the high traffic areas, very good work ethic.
Has a well rounded offensive game and plays with a physical edge. Has good speed and uses it to get into the scoring areas.
Extremely agile, effectively initiates the offensive game with the speed to get back defensively. Has an infectious positive attitude and is a natural leader.
Plays with high energy, never takes a shift off. Quite effectively defensively, he can handle a regular PK shift.
Good mobile puck mover, but also has a strong shot. Runs the top powerplay exceptionally well. Positionally sound in the defensive zones and very good with his stick.
His massive frame makes him very hard to play against. He has a wide wing span allowing him to be effective with the stick check. A very good penalty killer with zero hesitation of clearing the front of the net or blocking a shot.
Above average skater with a strong shot, anticipates the play well in the offensive zone. Though not overly physical, he won’t completely shy away from that aspect of the game either.
