On Tuesday, Carey Price was named the 2015 Lou Marsh Award winner. The award is voted on by a group of Canadian journalists and is handed out annually to Canada’s best athlete, amateur or professional. This is the first time that Price has received this honour.
Carey Price’s 2014-15 season measures up to some of the best stats NHL goaltenders have ever put up. Unfortunately, the Canadiens’ stud netminder will most likely not be able to replicate the lofty figures he put up last year.
Carey Price had a year for the ages in 2014-15, winning several major awards and setting team records along the way. Asking him to duplicate that would be too much pressure but what should the Habs expect for an encore in 2015-16?
