In the history of hockey there was no one better at crafting a deal than legendary Canadiens general manager Sam Pollock.

But, none of them hold the Canadiens record for most points in a season by a left winger. That honor belongs to a five foot, seven inch, one hundred and sixty pound player born in Sweden, named Mats Naslund.

But J.C. Tremblay was a great player in his own right, a player for whom recognition was a constant struggle, and one of the top defensemen ever to play for the Canadiens.
