The Habs looked to make it three straight victories as they hosted Vancouver on Sunday night. However, they weren’t able to overcome a three-goal second period from the Canucks, eventually falling 5-2.
With Jordan Harris being a game-time decision tonight against Vancouver, the Habs needed to get an extra defenceman on the roster. That player is Gustav Lindstrom who has been recalled from Laval. To make room, Joel Armia was sent to the Rocket.
The East-leading Bruins were in town on Saturday night for the first of two matchups in back-to-back weekends. While Montreal got off to a slow start, they got two early ones in the third while Kaiden Guhle potted the overtime winner in a 3-2 victory.
Jonathan Huberdeau’s struggles in Calgary have led some to wonder if the Flames might be looking to offload their highest-paid player. However, he might not be a good fit with this current version of the Habs.
