All the scoring was done in the first period on Tuesday night in Colorado. The Habs picked up two of those three tallies, allowing them to end their road trip on a winning note with a 2-1 victory.
Montreal’s final Western road trip of the season continued last week and once again, arguably their weakest game was the one they wound up winning as they picked up three of a possible six points.

After pulling out a shutout victory over Columbus on Tuesday, the Habs looked to close their home stand on a high note as they hosted Boston on Thursday night. It was a tight-checking contest but the Bruins were able to pick up the 2-1 overtime victory.
