Dominance! It took most of the season, but Montreal finally ruled supreme over a significantly lesser opponent.

It was a game that could have ended 12 – 2 in Montreal’s favour. Tampa Bay was dominated, thoroughly, for most of the game.
Before you chastise the Canadiens for giving 2 points to a team they are trying to beat out of a playoff spot, take a breath and look back at the game they played.
zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz… zzzzzzzZZZZZZZ-oh, pardon. Historical game aside, I couldn’t have been more bored.
So the deadline came and went, with nary a move from Montreal.
As we near closer to the deadline, Bob Gainey has already made a couple moves of significance.
This was about as undeserved a win as you can imagine. San Jose threw 48 shots and the kitchen sink at Jaroslav Halak.
After going 1-4-1 on the road, perhaps it would be the warm comforts of home that would help lift the team from the mire?
It’s so easy to fall into old habits. As I sat down in front of the TV, armed with my clipboard, 8″ by 12″ letter paper and trusty Habs pen, the first name I wrote down on the page: Kovalev. Oops.
Okay, whoever has the Habs Voodoo doll, quit screwin’ around! I don’t think I’ve seen a game where so many bounces went one teams’ way.
