The Montreal Canadiens were looking to get back on track when they hosted their arch rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs, on Saturday night. The Habs squandered an early 2-0 lead, but came back strong in the third period and finished with a nice 5-2 victory.
The Habs were looking to win their second straight as they paid a visit to St. Louis on Saturday afternoon. They scored three goals in the first half of the second period and didn’t look back as they defeated the Blues for the second straight Saturday, this time 5-2.
The Habs welcomed the struggling to the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. They had a dominating effort from start to finish and left the arena with a 4-0 win with a pair of youngsters picking up their first NHL goals.
