It was certainly one of the more interesting weeks for the Montreal Canadiens, with a coaching change and the team’s biggest offensive output of the year.
This past week was one of contrast, the Habs continued to struggle aside from a surprising 4-1 victory over Ottawa.
2005 mercifully came to an end for the Habs this past week. A season that started off with so much promise has tailed off in a hurry;

The Christmas break seemingly can’t come soon enough for the Montreal Canadiens, as they continue to drop in the standings, and are only a few points away from being out of a playoff spot.
It certainly wasn’t a week to remember for the Habs, waiting 6 days only to come out flat in an ugly loss to the Ducks.
This past week, the Montreal Canadiens found their way out of a 4-game slump, defeating the LA Kings 3-2 on Saturday night.
Last week, the Hamilton Bulldogs couldn’t buy a goal to save their lives. This week? They couldn’t stop the puck.
