This week, the Habs split a pair of games, beating the Penguins in Carey Price’s NHL debut before the Hurricanes got their revenge in Montreal’s home opener.
I think I speak for most fans when I say finally, October is here as the season is underway, with the Habs getting off to a fairly strong start.
With training camp now a little over half done, there are some interesting stories emerging – can Carey Price be the starter, who’s the odd man out on defence, what, if any rookies will make the club, and so on.
One of the fun things to do during training camp and the offseason is to talk about the future – what prospects could make the team next season or down the road?
There are many words one can use to sum up the summer of the Habs, at least so far.
