The week before Christmas was an up-and-down one for the Montreal Canadiens, first stunning Ottawa with a thrilling comeback at home
The Christmas break seemingly can’t come soon enough for the Montreal Canadiens, as they continue to drop in the standings, and are only a few points away from being out of a playoff spot.
It certainly wasn’t a week to remember for the Habs, waiting 6 days only to come out flat in an ugly loss to the Ducks.
This past week, the Montreal Canadiens found their way out of a 4-game slump, defeating the LA Kings 3-2 on Saturday night.
Last week, the Hamilton Bulldogs couldn’t buy a goal to save their lives. This week? They couldn’t stop the puck.
Evidently, changing goaltenders on a weekly basis will not be a key to success for the Hamilton Bulldogs this season.
On November 18th, the New Jersey Devils defeated the Montreal Canadiens by a count of 5-3. Jose Theodore, despite a groin strain, started in goal for the Habs, while Martin Brodeur got the W for the Devils.
