The week that was for the Habs could essentially be summed up as follows – “sweep”, and no, I don’t mean the curling variety.
The Habs, despite a pair of less than impressive efforts this week, continue to be in the hunt for top seed in the East.
It was a week marked with inconsistency for both the Habs and Bulldogs. Fortunately for Montreal, they were able to steal a pair of games, however, Hamilton was not as successful, losing a pair to division rival Manitoba.
The Habs, despite being sellers at the deadline, have pushed their way to 1st in the conference with 6 weeks to go in the season.
With the trade deadline almost here, it’s time to look at some of the players that may be in play for the Habs.
The week may have started off slow for the both the Habs and Bulldogs, but ended with a trio of victories for each team.
The week started off strong for both the Montreal Canadiens and the Hamilton Bulldogs, but unfortunately for both, it ended far from favourably.
It was a week of direct contrasts for the Habs, 2 good efforts, with 2 others that were lacking.
It was another offensive explosion for the Habs this week, as the team potted an impressive 12 goals in 2 games.
The Habs, despite scoring a grand total of 5 goals this week managed to win 2 of their 3 games, keeping pace in the tight Eastern Conference.
