The Habs, buoyed by a late 2nd period scoring outburst, defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 7-2 on Saturday night to sweep the week.
On Thursday, we saw the Habs make their first deal of the season, dealing away Ryan O’Byrne to Colorado for prospect forward Michael Bournival.

The Habs stumbled this week, winning only 1 of 3 games, while the Bulldogs kept on rolling, winning their 3 contests.
Though the Habs were in Columbus on Tuesday night, they certainly weren’t in spirit as they dropped a 3-0 decision to the host Blue Jackets.
