Oftentimes, the full roster from rookie camp will move to the main camp, at least for a day or two.  That isn’t the case this time around.  Montreal returned forward Tyler Thorpe and defenceman Owen Protz to their respective junior teams while tryouts Emanuelson Charbonneau, Matteo Drobac, Justin Larose, Maxime Pellerin, and Samuel Richard were all released from their tryout agreements.

Training camp begins on Wednesday with physicals before four straight days of practice leading into their first preseason game on Monday against Philadelphia.
