The Habs kicked off a back-to-back set with a stop in Buffalo on Monday night. Brendan Gallagher potted the tying goal in the third period, paving the way for Michael Pezzetta to pick up the shootout winner as Montreal skated away with the 4-3 victory.
It was a rare winning week for the Habs as they picked up a pair of victories over Tampa Bay and Columbus while playing a strong game against the league-leading Bruins that came up just a little short.

Cayden Primeau continued his strong play last week but with Laval’s roster decimated by injuries and recalls, scoring was at a premium and the end result was them securing only a single win and falling out of a playoff spot.
With his season in Sweden coming to an end earlier this month, the Habs have found the next place to play for winger Emil Heineman as they announced on Monday that they’ve loaned the winger to Laval.
