The 5:00 PM ET season-opening roster deadline has come and gone.  There aren’t too many surprises on there for Montreal but Joel Armia, who cleared waivers earlier on Monday, is on the roster, for now at least.

The Habs have a few more hours before they’re required to set their cap-compliant season-opening roster.  Their roster movements earlier in the day will help to set that roster.  Here’s a rundown of what has happened so far.

Sunday is the final day for waiving players in advance of Monday’s season-opening roster deadline.  The Habs were busy on that front today, placing both Joel Armia and Gustav Lindstrom on waivers.
