The 2011 NHL Entry Draft’s first round will take place tonight – Friday, June
24 at 7pm (EST) – at the Xcel Energy Center, with the Montreal Canadiens holding
the 17th overall selection.
The first round of the NHL Entry Draft will be held on June 24 starting at 7
p.m. ET live on Versus and on TSN and RDS in Canada. Rounds 2-7 will be held on
June 25 starting at 11 a.m. ET on the NHL Network in the United States and
Canada.

trade.
Montreal traded its 47th (for Dominic Moore), 50th (for James Wisniewski) and 108th (for Sopel/Dawes) selections.
Montreal traded the 77th pick to Winnipeg for picks 97 and 108.
