The Stanley Cup was awarded to the Anaheim Ducks, Crosby was crowned, now let’s forget the 2006-07 season! It’s draft time, and it’s coming sooner this year. Breaking with the traditional Saturday afternoon, the 1st round of the draft will be held next Friday night. Be sure not to miss it, as the Habs have 2 first round selections! If you’ve taken the time during Father’s Day to look at the ISS prospects profiles, maybe you have a feeling on how the first round will fall in place. Compete against the experts and give your own predictions in this year’s 4th Edition of the HabsWorld Draft Pool. To help you submit your predictions, below are the Draft order and a list of the top prospects. Copy paste the draft order in the comments box at the bottom of this page, fill in your predictions and submit your entry! Everyones’s entries will be posted on the website Friday night prior to the draft.
The purpose of this contest are first, bragging rights (!!), but also a good opportunity to take a look at the prospects and at least know a little bit about the 2 players our Habs will select Friday and be able to cheer! There will also be an autographed 8×10 picture of Vincent Lecavalier to the winner.
Good luck to everyone!
