Maxim Lapierre played his second career NHL game against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, December 12th, 2006. Lapierre picked up his first career NHL point with an assist on Guillaume Latendresse’s game-winning goal. Having already won the respect of Head Coach Guy Carbonneau, it is unlikely that Lapierre will be returned to the AHL anytime soon.
