Scouting Report

Strengths: Not afraid to get into high
traffic areas and fight for the puck. Has shown determination and leadership
qualities. White has played consistently and sees the ice well.
Weaknesses: Not a great skater and doesn’t
have the size to be a dominant force.
Projected Role: Ryan White owns some offensive abilities, but may be relegated to an
energy-line forward in the NHL.

Biography

Ryan White is currently in his third season with the
WHL’s Calgary Hitmen. He has gained experience in all situations because of
his good hockey sense and has become a leader on the team. White also
co-lead the Hitmen in scoring in 2005 with 53 points. Thus far, White has
continued where he left off by scoring 8 goals and adding 20 assists in 23
games this season while gathering 28 PIM.
