Strengths

Speed and more speed.  Lemieux skates well and can hit top speed in only a few strides.  Has good offensive skills, works hard and is solid all round.  The Canadiens management had planned on sending Lemieux to Long Beach of the ECHL, but his hard work forced them to change their minds as he earned a roster spot with Hamilton and has been one of the teams top players all season long.

Weaknesses

His lack of strength hurts him in the corners and along the boards but it doesn’t keep him from going to the net.  Will need to get stronger over time.
